Civil Police of Mato Grosso launches institutional integrity plan
The Civil Police of Mato Grosso has officially introduced its Integrity Plan, a strategic document designed to prevent, detect, and punish fraud, corruption, and misconduct within the institution. Developed by the Civil Police Integrity Committee, the plan serves as a compliance guide containing rules, directives, and internal control mechanisms.
The initiative aims to consolidate ethical and transparent practices, ensuring all institutional actions align with current regulations. By implementing these measures, the Civil Police seeks to strengthen institutional governance and increase public trust in state security actions. The plan will guide functional conduct, mitigate risks of deviations, and modernize internal management.
Jesset Munhoz, the general corregidor and president of the Integrity Committee, stated that the guide will contribute to a “transparent, professional and efficient” operation, strengthening the legitimacy of the Civil Judiciary Police actions. This move follows the launch of the Mato Grosso Public Integrity Program in July 2023, to which all state executive bodies have adhered.
