Civil Protection training courses launch in Bastia Umbra and Manoppello

In Bastia Umbra, Italy, a basic Civil Protection course has seen a significant surge in enrollment. Due to the high number of applicants, the local administration and Umbriafiere SpA collaborated to expand logistics and secure larger training venues to accommodate all participants. The program begins with an inaugural session at the Auditorium Sant’Angelo, with subsequent technical training held at the Umbriafiere SpA training hall.

In Manoppello, the sixth edition of a basic Civil Protection course concluded with 19 new volunteers receiving certification after completing 40 hours of training. Organized by the National Alpine Association (Abruzzi Section) in collaboration with the Manoppello Alpine Group, the course focused on emergency operational procedures and the role of volunteers within the national system. Local officials emphasized the importance of volunteerism in addressing environmental emergencies and extreme climate events.
