Civitanova Marche and Lerici host summer music celebrations

The Jubilate Polyphonic Chorus marked its 30th anniversary with a free‑admission concert at the Cineteatro Rossini in Civitanova Marche on 31 July. Conducted by Maestro Isabella Lupi with pianist Sauro Argalia, the program revisited songs from the 1970s‑1990s, joined by the Corale Polifonica "Città di Porto Sant’Elpidio".

The Lerici Music Festival presented Benjamin Britten’s opera The Turn of the Screw on 1 August at the Teatro degli Impavidi in Sarzana. The production, staged by Michel El Ghoul and directed musically by Giuseppe Bruno, featured the Orchestra of Teatro Carlo Felice and an international cast including Sofia Savenko, James Schouten, Melinda Hughes, Dilan Saka, Jasmine Flicker and Nicholas Ceragioli.
