Civitanova Marche and Sapri host major cultural anniversary celebrations in Italy

The 15th edition of the Popsophia festival concluded in Civitanova Marche with the philoshow “A fari spenti – Filosofia di Lucio Battisti” on Piazza della Libertà. Director Lucrezia Ercoli and journalist Leo Turrini highlighted the legacy of singer‑songwriter Lucio Battisti and paid tribute to late entrepreneur Cesare Paciotti, while the Festival’s Factory performed a collective concert of Battisti’s hits.

In Sapri, the 50th anniversary of Radio Libere was marked by a festive concert organized by veteran broadcaster Tonino Luppino and the municipal administration. The event commemorated the 1976 Constitutional Court ruling that ended Rai’s monopoly and featured performances by young singer Simone Bruzzese and veteran artist Marco Ferradini, who debuted his new song “Anima Pirata.”
