Civitanova Marche hosts 113th edition of Teatro della Comunità

The 113th edition of the Teatro della Comunità, an international socio-artistic project, will debut on Monday, August 31, at 20:30. The performance, titled ‘Il Tempo del Ritorno’, will take place in the arena within the ‘Tonino Trovellesi’ public gardens in Fontespina, Civitanova Marche.

Directed by actor and director Marco Di Stefano alongside international dancer and choreographer Tanya Khabarova, the project involves eighteen actors who have spent two weeks in public rehearsals. The initiative aims to use theater as a tool for social connection, helping to overcome cultural, religious, ethnic, and psychological barriers to promote an open and supportive society.

Originally founded in the Marche region and exported to 20 nations, the Teatro della Comunità focuses on anthropological and participatory theater. The production features lighting and sound by Eliseo Mozzicafreddo, with music composed by Tanya Khabarova and Antonio Ferdinando Di Stefano.
