Civitatis launches charity initiative for Colombia earthquake victims

Following a 7.4 magnitude earthquake in Colombia, the Spanish travel platform Civitatis has launched a charitable initiative called the ‘Free tour benéfico por Colombia’. The earthquake, which had its epicenter in San José del Palamar, Chocó, impacted nine regions of the country, with significant damage reported in Cali, Chocó, Pereira, and Manizales.

All funds raised through the initiative will be donated to Presentes Corporación, a Colombian organization dedicated to restoring living conditions for communities affected by natural disasters. The fundraising effort is open to contributors in Colombia as well as internationally, including in Spain, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina. Enrique Espinel, COO of Civitatis, stated that the initiative aims to provide a secure way for the community to offer real support to families who have lost homes or livelihoods.
