Civitavecchia launches free sports program for local minors for 2026‑27 season

The municipal administration of Civitavecchia (Italy) has issued a public notice to provide free access to its sports facilities for resident children and teenagers under 18 during the 2026‑2027 sports year. Ten places are reserved at each listed venue—Indra Mercuri hockey hall, the municipal pool, Insolera‑Tamagnini sports hall, Tamagnini football field, Ivan Lottatori 5‑a‑side field, and San Gordiano basketball court—to support families facing economic or social hardship. Eligibility requires proof of income limits (ISEE) or certification from social services, and applications are accepted until 12:00 CET on 22 July 2026. Sports delegate Patrizio Pacifico said, “Sport should not be a privilege but a concrete possibility for everyone,” emphasizing the programme’s social aim. Application forms and full details are available on the Civitavecchia municipal website under public notices.
