Inspectors discovered about 80 kg of marijuana hidden in 71 vacuum‑sealed bags placed under the bottom of cardboard boxes filled with clothing. The shipment, valued at roughly half a million euros, was linked to a Bulgarian citizen who was arrested on the spot and later placed in custody at the Civitavecchia prison.
