Civitavecchia water supply interruptions expected September 2

Civitavecchia residents may experience water shortages and pressure drops on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, between 8:00 and 23:00. The disruption is due to a planned water supply interruption by the Consorzio Acquedotto Medio Tirreno at the Filtri Aurelia plant.

Affected areas include Borgata Aurelia, Via Aurelia Nord, La Scaglia, the industrial zone, the port area, Punton dei Rocchi, Santa Lucia, and the New Cemetery. The Pantano and Sant’Agostino areas in the Municipality of Tarquinia may also be impacted.

To mitigate the inconvenience, Acea ATO 2 has arranged for two water tankers to be stationed at Borgata Aurelia on Via Gioacchino Rossini and Via Niccolò Paganini. Residents can also request extraordinary supply services via a dedicated toll-free number.
