Cizre Education Director promotes lifelong learning and social media awareness
Şahan İke, the District Director of National Education in Cizre, has been conducting field visits to promote educational initiatives and lifelong learning within the district.
During a visit to Vali Kamil Acun Middle School, İke met with 8th-grade students preparing for the High School Transition System (LGS) exams. He emphasized the importance of focus and cautioned students regarding social media usage, advising them to manage digital platforms rather than being controlled by them. He also stressed the necessity of using reliable sources when seeking information.
Additionally, İke inspected the Cizre Public Education Center, which offers various vocational, production, and hobby courses. Accompanied by Center Director Kerim Zeyrek, İke reviewed the practical training provided to trainees. He stated that education should extend beyond traditional classroom walls, describing it as a holistic effort to touch the lives of individuals of all ages under the principle of 'always, everywhere, education for everyone'.
