CJ Carr prepares for second season as Notre Dame quarterback

Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr is entering his second year as a starter with a focus on team chemistry and minimizing external distractions. Following a 2025 season where he started 12 games, threw for 2,741 yards and 24 touchdowns, and led the Fighting Irish to 10 consecutive wins after an 0-2 start, Carr faces significant media speculation regarding Heisman Trophy candidacy.
