CJ ENM expands to U.S. Prime Video with new K-content channels
CJ ENM is expanding its international presence by launching two free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channels on Prime Video in the United States. The new channels, ‘CJ ENM K-Stories’ and ‘CJ ENM K-Pop’, offer viewers access to Korean dramas, films, and music programming at no cost, supported by advertising.
This expansion coincides with significant financial and security developments within the company’s streaming subsidiary, TVing. TVing reported its first operating profit of 6 billion Won on revenue of 140.7 billion Won during the second quarter of 2026, marking a shift to profitability driven by sports rights and advertising demand. However, the platform also faced a major security incident involving the compromise of 39 million user accounts, reportedly stemming from an unaddressed security warning from 2024.
