CJ Foodville uses US Tous Les Jours stores to promote Korean Shine Muscat

CJ Foodville is utilizing its Tous Les Jours bakery network in the United States to expand export opportunities for Korean Shine Muscat grape farmers. In collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation (aT), and the Korea Grape Export Union, the company is launching three limited-edition seasonal bakery items at five select locations in the US.

The promotional menu includes the Shine Muscat Paradise Cake, Shine Muscat Yogurt Croissant, and Shine Muscat Vanilla Danish. The initiative aims to introduce high-quality Korean grapes to American consumers through everyday bakery products. On the first day of sales, prepared quantities of the croissant and danish were reportedly sold out within five hours at participating locations.

This public-private partnership seeks to establish stable supply chains and permanent menu options based on consumer feedback and sales performance. The project aligns with South Korean government strategies to boost K-food exports and increase income for domestic grape farmers by securing new distribution channels in the American market.
