CJ Group targets 12 trillion won in North American sales by 2028
CJ Group has announced a strategic vision to become a global K-lifestyle leader, targeting 12 trillion won in North American sales by 2028. This goal follows a period of significant growth, with North American revenue exceeding 8 trillion won last year, representing a tenfold increase since 2017.
To achieve this, the company plans to integrate its food, beauty, and content sectors to create a circular consumer ecosystem. In the food sector, the Bibigo brand will expand its product range beyond dumplings to include rice, chicken, seaweed snacks, kimchi, and various sauces. In the beauty sector, Olive Young is expanding its presence, recently hosting a large-scale beauty festival in Los Angeles.
CJ Group Chairman Lee Jae-hyun recently visited Los Angeles to inspect key business sites, including KCON LA 2026 and the Olive Young Festa. During these visits, he emphasized the importance of connecting K-content interest to the repeated consumption of K-food and K-beauty products to establish a sustainable lifestyle brand in the North American market.
