CJ OliveNetworks achieves first ‘A+’ corporate credit rating

CJ OliveNetworks has received an ‘A+ (stable)’ corporate credit rating from both NICE Investors Service and Korea Ratings. This marks the first time the company has achieved this specific rating, which is intended to bolster its credibility for securing new contracts.

The credit agencies cited the company’s stable business foundation, growing revenue from non-affiliate customers, and a financial structure with low debt burdens as key factors. Notably, revenue from non-affiliate clients grew at an average annual rate of 18.4% between 2021 and 2025, significantly outpacing the 5.9% growth rate of affiliate-related revenue.

CJ OliveNetworks is leveraging its expertise in AI transformation (AX) across various sectors, including smart factories, logistics, AI data centers, and media. The company’s IT services division has also become a critical profit driver for its affiliate, CJ CGV, contributing 31.3 billion won in operating profit during the first half of the year.
