CJ OliveNetworks implements next-gen logistics system for HD Hyundai Electric
CJ OliveNetworks has completed the implementation of a next-generation Warehouse Management System (WMS) at HD Hyundai Electric’s Cheongju distribution campus. The facility, which began operations in December last year, serves as a smart production base covering approximately 25,000 pyeong and integrates production, design, and logistics functions.
The new system connects Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), and logistics automation equipment into a single platform. This enables a real-time, data-driven integrated control system that manages the entire process from material receiving and depalletizing to line delivery and finished product shipment. The system is integrated with various automation technologies, including Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), Automated Case-handling Robots (ACR), and logistics shuttles.
This implementation is part of CJ OliveNetworks’ broader push into AI transformation (AX) within the manufacturing and logistics sectors. The company reported a 29% increase in revenue for the second quarter, reaching 254.5 billion won, driven by the expansion of AX businesses such as next-generation ERP and AI factories.
