Perry expressed respect for Vince McMahon’s authority over the company’s creative direction, describing the environment as playing in his “sandbox.” She mentioned that seeing her rejected ideas used by others served as validation that her concepts were viable. One specific pitch she discussed involved a storyline where her character, Lana, would become the sixth wife of WWE legend Ric Flair.
