Ckyr Sports Supplies Trading revitalized via DTI and PLDT mentorship

Ckyr Sports Supplies Trading, a business in Bukidnon, Philippines, has undergone a significant transformation through the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) Program. Owner Ckyr Leonardo, who previously considered closing his business due to a lack of strategic direction, successfully completed the program as a top graduate of Batch 18.

Supported by PLDT and Smart, the initiative provided digital learning and mentorship covering financial planning, operations, and long-term strategy. As part of his recognition, Leonardo received an ‘AI-in-a-Box’ package, which includes a premium ChatGPT subscription, a Smart Turbo WiFi device, and Smart Prepaid load cards. These tools are intended to assist with content creation, accounting, document preparation, and managing online clients.

In addition to individual support, PLDT and Smart conducted AI learning sessions for program participants to demonstrate how artificial intelligence can streamline marketing and daily workflows for local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
