Claas expands ROLLANT 630 RC COMFORT with net and film binding

Claas has expanded the capabilities of its ROLLANT 630 RC COMFORT round baler by introducing an optional binding system for both net and wrapping film. This update follows the release of the ROLLANT 630 RC UNIWRAP press-wrap combination.

For silage production, the machine can utilize wrapping film, which aids in maintaining bale shape and simplifies disposal, as the binding film can be discarded alongside the wrapping film. For hay and straw, the system can be switched to net binding, which is more resistant to damage from stubble and hard stalks.

The ROLLANT 630 RC COMFORT features a 1.25 m diameter chamber and is positioned above the ROLLANT 520 model. Technical specifications include a ROTO CUT Heavy-Duty cutting unit with 25 knives, a PRO cutting floor to manage material flow, and the MAXIMUM PRESSURE SYSTEM II. Additionally, the machine is equipped with a five-row MULTIFLOW HD pickup that operates at a 10% higher rotational speed than previous versions.
