CLAC and Dominican Republic invited to Future Aviation Forum 2027

The Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (CLAC) and the Dominican Republic have received official invitations to participate in the Future Aviation Forum 2027. This follows high-level meetings held during the El Alamein International Airshow 2026.

Julio Peña Guzmán, president of CLAC and the Civil Aviation Board (JAC), met with Egyptian Civil Aviation Minister Sameh Ahmed Zaky Elhefny to discuss institutional strengthening and aeronautical cooperation between Arab nations and Latin America and the Caribbean.

Additionally, discussions were held with Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, president of the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). The parties proposed a special meeting during the 2027 forum between Saudi Arabia and the 23 CLAC member states to identify joint initiatives in technical cooperation, capacity exchange, and air connectivity.
