Clai Imola Volley begins preseason training for Serie A2
Clai Imola Volley has officially begun its preseason preparations for the upcoming Serie A2 women's volleyball season. The training program includes court work, weight training, and specialized support from an athletic and medical staff, including nutritionist Valentina Succie and physiotherapists Lucia Ricci and Alice Stella.
Athletic trainer Stefano Mengozzi noted that players have been following personalized programs for approximately eight weeks to ensure they arrive physically and mentally prepared. The team is working under coach Marco Gazzotti, with captain Sofia Cavalli and player Foresi being the only members remaining from the previous squad.
Cavalli expressed optimism regarding the new group's competitiveness, noting that the team appears experienced and ready to face a demanding schedule. The upcoming season is expected to be particularly long, requiring mental resilience as teams will compete through April to determine final standings.
