Tatiana Clouthier launches new movement in Nuevo León after Morena exclusion

Tatiana Clouthier, former Secretary of Economy, has announced the creation of a new political and civic movement called ‘Todos con Conciencia’ (All with Conscience) in Nuevo León. This move follows her exclusion from Morena’s internal process to lead the party's coordination in the state ahead of the 2027 elections.

Clouthier expressed dissatisfaction with the party's decision to designate Clara Luz Flores as the state coordinator, suggesting that the selection process did not reflect the values of honesty or the commitments made to participants. She stated that the new movement does not aim to seek public office but rather to foster a ‘revolution of consciences’ and increase citizen participation in Nuevo León.

In response to the internal rift, President Claudia Sheinbaum called on Morena leadership to engage in dialogue with Clouthier to resolve the disagreement. While Clouthier maintains her support for the President, she criticized the local party leadership for its handling of the selection process. Meanwhile, Clara Luz Flores has called for unity, urging members to move past individual differences to focus on the party's territorial work.
