Clara Obligado has released a new literary work titled ‘Tres maneras de decir adiós’ (Three Ways to Say Goodbye), published by Páginas de Espuma. The book is structured as a fragmentary novel composed of three interconnected stories that explore themes of loss, identity, and displacement.

A central female figure traverses the narratives, appearing in different roles as a mother, daughter, and grandmother. The stories overlap in time, creating a narrative braid where individual threads gain deeper meaning through their connections. One segment focuses on a woman dealing with grief and the fantastic after her husband disappears during the Gulf War, examining the difficulty of finding closure when a definitive fate is unknown.
