Clara Shinta rejects settlement in defamation lawsuit against ex-husband

Influencer Clara Shinta has rejected any possibility of a peaceful settlement with her former husband, Denny Goestaf, opting instead to proceed with a legal defamation lawsuit.

During a recent additional interrogation at Polda Metro Jaya, Shinta addressed allegations made by Goestaf regarding her personal life, specifically claims that she changes partners annually. Shinta dismissed these claims as untrue and “beyond logic.” The legal dispute, which began in June 2026, also involves allegations concerning a sum of 13 billion Rupiah.

Shinta’s legal counsel, Moh. Akil Rumaday, stated that they will not withdraw the report, as Goestaf’s public statements have caused significant damage to Shinta’s reputation. Shinta noted that while she initially hoped for an amicable resolution, the statements made by Goestaf had crossed a line, making legal action necessary.
