Claressa Shields is set to headline a historic boxing event at Atlanta's State Farm Arena on August 15. Moving down in weight, the undisputed heavyweight champion will challenge unified WBC and WBA world champion Kaye Scott.

The event, a collaboration between Salita Promotions, Wynn Records, and Zeus Network, is being promoted as a cultural crossover. Hip-hop artists including Latto, YG, Sauce Walka, and Diamond The Body are scheduled to accompany fighters during their ring walkouts.

In recent developments, Canadian middleweight Tamm Thibeault has emerged as a potential future contender for Shields. Thibeault recently captured the IBF and WBO middleweight titles with a decision victory over Desley Robinson. Analysts noted that Thibeault's physical strength and punching power could pose a challenge to Shields should they meet in the middleweight division.
