Brazil political candidates declare assets to TSE
Candidates for various political offices in Brazil have submitted their asset declarations to the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) for the upcoming election cycles.
In the presidential race, Pablo Marçal (PRTB) corrected a significant error in his filing, updating his declared assets to R$ 149.9 million after an initial erroneous report of over R$ 7 billion. Clariana Barão (DC) has officially registered her candidacy with a declared wealth of R$ 1.82 million, primarily consisting of real estate and a vehicle.
Regional reports highlight significant wealth disparities. In Bahia, ACM Neto leads the gubernatorial candidates with R$ 84.8 million in assets. In Rio de Janeiro, candidates like Francisco Eugênio have declared assets exceeding R$ 91 million. In Acre, the top ten candidates for various positions hold a combined wealth of over R$ 186 million, with Ricardo Leite reporting R$ 45.4 million.
