Clarins launches new Double Serum Eye focused on skin longevity

Clarins has introduced a new generation of its Double Serum Eye treatment, part of a long-term research focus on skin longevity. The brand’s approach shifts from simple correction to prevention by targeting biological aging mechanisms.

The new formula is designed to address two distinct types of aging: epigenetic aging, influenced by lifestyle and environment, and chronological aging, caused by the passage of time. To develop this, researchers conducted studies, including an analysis of identical twins, to understand how lifestyle impacts the eye area.

The product features a combination of key botanical ingredients. Marjoram extract is used to combat epigenetic changes, while turmeric extract—a signature ingredient of the Double Serum line—targets chronological signs by maintaining cellular communication and reducing oxidative stress. The formula includes 11 active ingredients, 8 of which are plant-based, and is composed of 96% natural origin ingredients. Additional components such as niacinamide, horse chestnut, and phytocaffeine are included to address dark circles and puffiness.
