Clarion Partners Europe acquires 116,800 m² logistics site in France

Clarion Partners Europe has acquired a 116,800 square meter logistics site near Amiens, France, from ESR Europe for 90 million euros. The facility, known as Som'Link, was completed in 2023 and is currently 74% leased to ID Logistics for e-commerce operations.

The modern asset features a 11-meter clear height, 112 loading docks, and sustainable infrastructure including photovoltaic panels, solar canopies, and electric vehicle charging stations. Etienne Bruneau, vice-president of Clarion Partners Europe, noted that the acquisition provides exposure to high-quality institutional logistics assets with significant potential for value creation through the leasing of remaining vacant space.

This transaction occurs amidst a challenging period for the French logistics market. Sector investments fell by 78% in the first half of 2026, and vacancy rates have risen above 8% in regions such as Île-de-France and Hauts-de-France.
