Clark Aviation Capital aims to bolster Philippine tech supply chains

The Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC), an arm of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), is developing the ‘Clark Aviation Capital’ around Clark International Airport (CRK) in Central Luzon. This initiative aims to establish a comprehensive hub for aviation, logistics, and commerce to facilitate the movement of goods, people, and investment.

Infrastructure developments include expanded runway capacity, rail links, and a multi-modal hub connecting the airport to rail networks. Industrial lots within the zone are being equipped with pre-installed power, fiber, and digital infrastructure to attract high-tech manufacturing sectors.

The project is positioned to support industries such as semiconductors, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and critical minerals as they seek to strengthen supply chains through initiatives like the Luzon Economic Corridor. While maintaining its focus on passenger growth and cargo throughput, CIAC intends for the aviation capital to serve as a vital logistics backbone for the Philippines' regional ambitions.
