Claro tv+ begins testing RecordPlus streaming integration

Claro tv+ has begun testing the integration of RecordPlus, the free streaming platform from Record, into its interface. The rollout is being conducted gradually and is currently limited to subscribers using the 4K Box decoder.

The integration coincides with the premiere of the reality show ‘A Fazenda 18’, which is expected to drive higher demand for live and on-demand content via the RecordPlus app. For Claro, the move supports its strategy of acting as an aggregator for various streaming services within a single environment. For Record, the partnership expands the reach of its live broadcasts and original productions, including news and soap operas, allowing users to access content directly through their decoder without needing additional devices.

RecordPlus recently underwent technological updates, migrating its architecture to the cloud to better handle high volumes of simultaneous access.
