Classi5ed launches Kickstarter for Lie of Caelum: Spirit JRPG

Independent developer Classi5ed has launched a Kickstarter campaign for Lie of Caelum: Spirit, a sci-fi mecha JRPG inspired by titles such as Xenogears and Phantasy Star. The campaign seeks a funding goal of $34,000 to support asset development and music composition.

The game features a soundtrack with contributions from composer Motoi Sakuraba, alongside Kurippertronixxx and Mushra. Developed using RPG Maker MZ, the project aims to provide a pseudo-3D experience. Gameplay includes turn-based mech combat, high-speed shooter segments, and on-foot exploration, with a projected main campaign length of over 60 hours.

Lie of Caelum: Spirit is slated for a PC release via Steam in English and Japanese, with Xbox and Nintendo Switch versions planned as potential stretch goals. The official release is targeted for the third quarter of 2027.
