Classic car enthusiasts hold gatherings in Beyşehir and Bergama

Classic car collectors and enthusiasts held recent gatherings in Turkey, showcasing vintage vehicles in Beyşehir and Bergama.

In Beyşehir, members of the Konya Classic Vehicle Lovers Association (KONKASD) toured the area around Lake Beyşehir. The group displayed various American classic models at Vuslat Park, attracting significant interest from local residents and children. KONKASD President Rahim Kurhan noted that the association aims to organize a more comprehensive event in Konya next year and emphasized the high costs and meticulous maintenance required to preserve these vehicles.

In Bergama, members of the Izmir Classic Automobile Club (IZKOD) organized a driving route to the historic district. Fifteen special vehicles, some dating back to the 1950s, were exhibited at Cumhuriyet Square. IZKOD President Engin Turşak stated that the monthly excursions aim to foster solidarity among members and promote classic car culture to the wider public, noting that Bergama's historical atmosphere provided an ideal backdrop for the event.
