Classic car shows draw crowds for charity in Sidmouth and Cornwall

Classic car enthusiasts have gathered for various community events in the United Kingdom. In Sidmouth, the annual Classic Car Show hosted by the Sidmouth Chamber of Commerce drew over 5,000 visitors to the town's cricket ground. The event featured more than 300 classic vehicles, including a 1967 MGC which was named Car of the Show. Funds raised through sponsorships, entry fees, and donations are intended to support local causes and encourage business in the town.

In Cornwall, the Hawkins Classic Collection is scheduled for November 1 at Blackwater. Hosted by the Hawkins Motor Group, the event will showcase vintage and rare models, including a 1989 Peugeot 205 GTI and a 1998 Lotus Esprit V8, alongside cars featured in film and television. The event aims to raise money for the Merlin Neuro Therapy Centre, a charity providing support for individuals with neurological conditions.
