Classic literary adaptations are seeing a resurgence in popularity on the HBO Max streaming platform. The 2011 film ‘Jane Eyre’, based on the novel by Charlotte Brontë and starring Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender, has entered the platform's top 10 most watched productions in Poland. The film follows the story of an orphaned girl who becomes a governess at Thornfield House and develops a complex relationship with the mysterious Edward Rochester.

Similarly, Joe Wright’s adaptation of Leo Tolstoy’s ‘Anna Karenina’ is also performing well in the top 10 rankings. Starring Keira Knightley, Jude Law, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, the film utilizes a theatrical visual style to depict the tragic romance between a high-society woman and a wealthy count, exploring the conflict between personal passion and social duty.
