Classic muscle cars to headline upcoming Mecum and Barrett-Jackson auctions

Upcoming collector car auctions in the United States will feature a wide array of classic muscle cars and high-performance vehicles.

Mecum Nashville is scheduled to host an auction in September featuring approximately 1,500 heavily modified cars. Notable entries include several Chevrolet Camaros, such as a 1968 RS with a fuel-injected 427 ci engine, a 1969 Custom with a Lingenfelter 7.0-liter LS7 V8, and a 1973 RS known as ‘Project Envious’ which produces 680 horsepower.

Barrett-Jackson will hold an auction in Las Vegas from September 10-12, 2026. The event will highlight classic Mopar vehicles, including a 1971 Plymouth ’Cuda with a matching-numbers 440ci Six-Barrel engine and a 1969 Dodge Daytona. The auction will also feature two Dodge Viper SRT-10s.
