Classic Open Air festival wraps up in Berlin

The Classic Open Air summer music festival concluded its 2026 edition on Berlin's historic Gendarmenmarkt. Alphaville, fronted by Marian Gold, performed with the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt, delivering a set that included classics such as “Forever Young” and a surprise encore of “Pandora’s Lullaby.” The concert, held on 14 July 2026, attracted thousands of attendees under clear evening weather.

Organisers announced that the festival will return for its 33rd edition in 2027, running from 7 to 11 July at the same venue. The upcoming program features the Italian vocal trio IL VOLO, who will close the final night on 11 July, alongside performances by the Konzerthausorchester Berlin and other noted acts. The 2026 edition drew more than 30,000 guests, underscoring the event’s popularity as a key fixture in Berlin’s cultural calendar.
