Classic RPG titles arrive on Nintendo Switch

Several classic role-playing games are arriving on Nintendo Switch platforms. Nippon Ichi Software has released a $20 port of the 1999 PlayStation classic ‘Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess’ as part of its Console Archives series. While the port includes English subtitles, it only features Japanese audio.

Additionally, Sega’s tactical RPG ‘Valkyria Chronicles’ is available on the Nintendo eShop for a discounted price of $4.99 until September 1. Originally a PlayStation 3 exclusive released in 2008, the title is playable on both the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch 2 via backward compatibility.
