Classic TT: Nathan Harrison and Michael Dunlop lead qualifying

Thursday qualifying sessions for the Classic TT on the Isle of Man Mountain Course saw improved conditions as damp patches cleared, allowing riders to post the week's best lap times across several classes.

In the Formula 1 class, Nathan Harrison secured the top spot on his Greenall Racing Kawasaki with a lap of 124.721mph, narrowly beating teammate Jamie Coward. Michael Dunlop finished fourth in this class after starting late.

In the Lightweight category, Michael Dunlop topped the leaderboard with a lap of 116.470mph on a Milenco by Padgetts Motorcycles Honda, edging out Paul Jordan by 0.235 seconds.

John McGuinness led the Historic Senior class, posting an average lap time of 111.750mph. He was the only rider in that category to exceed the 110mph mark, finishing over three tenths of a second ahead of Dean Harrison.
