Classical and sacred music concerts scheduled in Belém and Carangola

Several musical performances are scheduled to celebrate religious and classical traditions. In Belém, the Basílica Santuário de Nazaré will host the 26th edition of the concerto ‘Um Canto para Maria’ on October 9. The event, conceptualized by soprano Patrícia Oliveira, features a repertoire dedicated to the Virgin Mary and includes participation from children and youth from various social projects, such as the Coral Padre Vitaliano Maria Vari.

In another event, Korean-American pianist Sue Song is set to perform an international concert at the Paróquia São Sebastião. Song, a co-founder of the Amoris Foundation, is recognized for her work in supporting vulnerable communities through music and art. Her repertoire includes works by Chopin, Mozart, Bach, and Debussy, spanning classical, contemporary, and sacred styles.
