Classical music concert series announced for Potenza and Avellino

Several classical music concert series are scheduled to take place in the Campania region of Italy during late 2026.

In Potenza, the Ensemble Accademia Ducale will perform ‘Filigrane sonore’ at the Teatro Francesco Stabile on September 20. Directed by Giuseppe D’Amico, the program features works by Giovanni Bottesini, including ‘Elegia per contrabbasso e pianoforte’ and ‘Fantasia su La Sonnambula’, alongside Maurice Ravel’s ‘Introduction et Allegro’. This event is part of the ‘Il Suono del Bene’ project, which aims to promote active participation for people with disabilities.

In Avellino, the Zenit 2000 Association is launching its fourth ‘Sinfonie d’Autore’ festival. Under the artistic direction of Massimo Testa, the series includes four major dates at the Teatro Eliseo and Spazio Arena. The lineup features the Orchestra Filarmonica Campana on September 19, followed by performances by the Orchestra da Camera Zenit 2000 and the Orchestra Territoriale di Latina throughout October and November. The repertoire spans composers such as Mozart, Manuel de Falla, and Copland.
