Classical music festivals launch and conclude in Spain

Several classical music festivals are taking place in Spain. The Escena Escorial festival begins on August 28 in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, under the musical direction of Alondra de la Parra. The program aims to blend classical repertoire with contemporary creations and young talent, featuring performances by the JORCAM orchestra and artists such as Daniel Barenboim.

In Soria, the XIII edition of the Soria Clásica festival concludes on August 28. The closing event, titled ‘Las Monjas Músicas’ by the duo El Concierto Secreto, focuses on the musical legacy of women in 16th and 17th-century convents, highlighting historical works for voice and harp.
