Classical music initiatives promote education and social exchange in Brazil

Various musical initiatives in Brazil are focusing on education and cultural exchange through classical music. In Três Coroas, musician and professor Carlos Zinani offers the course ‘Gigantes da História da Música’, which recently focused on the works of Handel and Haydn to make classical music more accessible to the public.

In Campo Grande, the Orquestra Fraternidade Sem Fronteiras is participating in the ‘Encontro com a Música Clássica 2026’. The event includes training and exchange sessions for students and musicians. A highlight of the program is the ‘Música sem Fronteiras’ activity led by Carlinhos Antunes, director of the Orquestra Mundana Refugi. This initiative uses music as a tool for social development and cultural integration for youth from various peripheral regions.
