Classical music performances feature Mahler and Liszt across Europe

Various classical music events have taken place across Europe, highlighted by performances of Gustav Mahler's works. In Dresden, Daniele Gatti conducted the Staatskapelle Dresden in a performance of Mahler's 10th Symphony, using the Deryck Cooke version. In Spain, the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, led by Ádám Fischer and featuring mezzo-soprano Catriona Morison, performed Mahler's Third Symphony at the Palau de la Música.

Other notable musical events include the Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hungarian National Choir performing Franz Liszt's oratorio 'Christus' at the Musikverein in Vienna. Additionally, the Bregenz Festival has announced an extra performance of Giuseppe Verdi's 'La traviata' for the upcoming summer season due to high demand, and the Stadttheater Klagenfurt is set to premiere Mozart's 'Così fan tutte' on October 29, 2026.
