Classical music performances scheduled in Savona and Varese

Various classical music performances are scheduled across Italy. In Savona, the “I Pomeriggi della Mozart nei quartieri” series will hold its third event at the Chiesa del Santo Spirito e Concezione on September 27. The concert features violinist Mihaela Costea, performing on a 1690 Matteo Goffriller instrument, and harpist Davide Burani. The program includes works by Massenet, Saint-Saëns, Paganini, and Fauré.

In Varese, the “Echi Urbani” festival will host violinist Marco Fornaciari at the Salone Estense on October 1. The recital focuses on four centuries of solo violin music, ranging from Biagio Marini and Johann Sebastian Bach to Sergei Prokofiev. Fornaciari, an internationally recognized musician, will perform a classical paraphrase of a Prokofiev symphony.
