Clatsop Community College opens Small Business Management Program

The Clatsop Community College Small Business Development Center is accepting applications for its Small Business Management Program, featuring both Level 1 and Level 2 cohorts. Supported by Northwest Oregon Works, accepted businesses will receive a $500 scholarship, reducing the $899 tuition to $399.

The program consists of 11 interactive sessions held every other week, with each session lasting 2.5 hours. The curriculum focuses on practical applications such as financial management, budgeting, marketing, business operations, and planning. Participants are paired with experienced business advisors to address specific challenges and set goals.

To increase accessibility for owners in Astoria, Clatsop County, and Columbia County, the program offers a HyFlex model, allowing for both in-person and remote learning. The Level 1 cohort is specifically designed for new business owners to build essential management skills and a foundation for long-term success.
