Claude Code tools face technical issues and usage management workarounds

Developers using Claude Code are utilizing various tools to manage account usage and routing. One user reported technical issues with the Claude Code Router (ccr) after updating NodeJS on a Linux Mint system. The error, which prevented the command from locating necessary bindings files, can be resolved by re-installing the router with allow-scripts enabled to ensure the better-sqlite3 dependency is correctly configured for the new NodeJS version.

Additionally, a new open-source tool called claude-rotate has been introduced to automate the switching between multiple Claude Max or Pro accounts. The Python-based proxy allows a single endpoint to manage traffic across several owned accounts, redirecting requests when an active account reaches its quota. While the tool aims to reduce manual login loops across different devices, the developers note that it operates in a terms-of-service gray area and does not bypass Anthropic-enforced usage limits.
