Claude Lelouch's new film Finalement trends online
French director Claude Lelouch is generating significant online interest with his new film, ‘Finalement – Storia di una tromba che s’innamora di un pianoforte’.
The film's soundtrack was composed by Ibrahim Maalouf, who built the score around a dialogue between the trumpet and the piano. Didier Barbelivien contributed original songs and co-wrote the main theme with Maalouf. The official soundtrack features 18 tracks, including songs performed by Kad Merad and Barbara Pravi, such as ‘Finalement’, ‘La folie des sentiments’, and ‘Un piano et une trompette’.
Lelouch commissioned the music prior to filming, allowing the compositions to influence the production and certain scene changes. The score also incorporates elements from Laurent Couson’s Requiem XIX and features the Republican Guard Symphony Orchestra.
