Nathan Gallagher faces arrest warrants after allegedly fleeing Australia
Nathan Gallagher, a star of the reality series ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’, has been convicted in his absence of three domestic violence charges in Australia and is now the subject of an arrest warrant. Prosecutors believe Gallagher has fled the country after failing to appear at Burwood Local Court on September 1.
The charges stem from an incident in December 2025, where police allege Gallagher assaulted his former partner and co-star, Gael Cameron. The specific charges include assault occasioning actual bodily harm, choking without consent, and common assault. Court documents state that Gallagher used his hand to cover Cameron’s mouth and nose, causing her to be unable to breathe at times.
Gallagher is also facing legal issues in his native Ireland, where a bench warrant was issued in April 2025 following a failure to appear for an assault charge dating back to 2022. In a statement to Rolling Stone, Gallagher expressed a desire to tell his side of the story, stating, ‘I’m not claiming I’m perfect. I wasn’t,’ but maintained that public reports represent only one side of the relationship.
