Claudia Cozzolino celebrates 26 years of Arabic dance
Claudia Cozzolino has dedicated 26 years to the study and instruction of Arabic dance. Her journey, which began under the guidance of Laura del Toro, has evolved from a personal passion into a career centered on teaching, choreography, and costume design.
Cozzolino founded the Mahatma ballet, a name inspired by the concept of a “big heart.” Throughout her career, she has worked to foster the dance community in Río Grande by hosting recognized instructors and creating immersive performances that involve both dancers and their families. Additionally, she has contributed to the field through her work in costume making and aesthetic design.
