Claudia Gerini presents Ricordati Ragazza at Rome Film Festival

The docu-fiction film ‘Ricordati Ragazza’, written and directed by Claudia Gerini, was presented on October 25 at the Rome Film Festival. Produced by Luce Cinecittà and Rai Cinema, the project marks the first time the Italian Chamber of Deputies has collaborated on a film production.

Created to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Constituent Assembly and the first vote by women, the film traces the history of female protagonism in Italy, ranging from the suffragettes to the twenty-one female founding mothers of the Constitution. The production involved collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. The film utilizes a mix of archival footage and recreated scenes, featuring a cast that includes Paola Minaccioni, Pia Engleberth, Lia Grieco, and Caterina Quintavalla.
